We had such a fun time recording with the one and only, most fabulous Creative Director and Photographer, Clare Gillen. She is a photographer and creative director of Gilly Studio. With a background in wellness, her playful photographs and films explore the nature of humanism, social connection, and contemporary life. She has worked with Girl in Red, Rihanna, Kim Petras, Alexa Demie, and Jack Antanoff. Clare conceptualizes and produces stages, music videos, artworks, and more.
We loved hearing her honest opinion on the effects of the current Web2 platforms on users and society, her perspective on the metaverse, the joys and challenges she faced working in the creative industry, and the possibilities of web 3 for the creative industry to strive in a decentralised world.
Entering web 3 as a creator can come with a range of challenges, but for Clare the journey has been worth the learning curve and she sees the space becoming more welcoming to a diverse range of creators and innovators.
